If you have a generic brand name, and others are also bidding on it, then running a branded campaign is better in terms of gaining creating awareness about your brand. Bidding on your brand name has many benefits, but you should assess various factors before doing so. For instance, if you have a strong organic presence then you won’t need to run ads unless you’re running promotions.
You’ll have to analyse both in platform and external metrics to measure the effectiveness of your Google Ads campaign.
